2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the Site, how and why we use it, with whom we share it, and what rights you have. It applies to all visitors of the Site and individuals who submit enquiries through it. It does not cover data processed under separate service agreements, which are governed by those agreements and their accompanying data processing terms.

We operate under and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Estonian data protection legislation.

3. Data We Collect

Data you provide directly: When you complete our contact form, we collect your name, business email address, company name, service interest, and any details you include in your message. This data is provided voluntarily when you contact us or request information about our services.

Data collected automatically: When you visit the Site, our hosting infrastructure automatically logs your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and pages visited. These server logs are used for security and infrastructure management.

Analytics data: If you consent to analytics cookies, we additionally collect pseudonymised usage data (pages visited, session duration, scroll depth, traffic sources). This data is processed in pseudonymised form only.

Cookie and local storage data: We store your cookie consent preference in your browser's local storage. See our Cookie Policy for full details.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

We process personal data on the following legal bases under Article 6 GDPR:

  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): To respond to business enquiries you submit, to maintain website security, and to operate server logs. Our legitimate interest is in running a functional website and responding to potential client and partner enquiries.
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): For non-essential cookies and analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time via Cookie Preferences in the footer or by emailing us. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.
  • Performance of a pre-contractual step (Art. 6(1)(b)): Where your enquiry leads to preparation of a service proposal or formal engagement.
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): Where processing is required to comply with applicable Estonian or EU law.

5. How We Use Your Data

  • To respond to your enquiry or request for information about our services;
  • To prepare a service proposal or scoping conversation where requested;
  • To maintain server logs for security, troubleshooting, and infrastructure management;
  • To analyse pseudonymised usage data to improve the Site (analytics cookies, with your prior consent only);
  • To store your cookie consent preference so we do not re-prompt you on every visit;
  • To comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations.

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

6. How Long We Keep Data

Contact form enquiry data is retained for up to 36 months from the date of submission, or longer where a service relationship develops, in which case data is retained for the duration of that relationship plus applicable legal retention periods. Server logs are retained for up to 12 months. Analytics data (where consented) is retained in pseudonymised form for up to 24 months. Cookie consent records are retained for up to 13 months. After expiry, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

7. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell or rent personal data. We may share data with the following categories of recipients:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers: Technical service providers who host the Site and process data on our behalf under data processing agreements that comply with GDPR Art. 28;
  • Analytics providers: Where you consent to analytics cookies, pseudonymised usage data is processed by our analytics provider under a data processing agreement;
  • Legal and regulatory authorities: Where required by applicable law, a court order, or to protect our legal rights and those of others.

All processors are contractually bound to process data only in accordance with our instructions and this Policy.

8. International Transfers

We are based in Estonia, an EU member state. We endeavour to process all data within the EEA. Where we use service providers whose infrastructure is located outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place as required by GDPR Chapter V, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) adopted by the European Commission.
